Introducing Queen Candii Cavalli!

“A good friend is like a four leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have.”

She makes broken look beautiful and strong look invincible.
She walks with the universe on her shoulders and makes it look like a pair of wings.
She is a whirlwind of crazy chaos, but she is so damn passionate, that she is worth it.
She loves life and it loves her right back.
She belongs to no man or land.
She is hers before she is anybody else's.
I am a rare breed, an acquired taste, and a Pisces.
Let me introduce myself, I am Candii CaValli.

Originally I came to SL in 2007 but that avatar got her little heart broke and she left. I had come to second life based off an article I read while laid up in bed after knee surgery. I was hooked. I later created Eyema Sass on April 7, 2008, to learn to build and script and had a store for a bit in-world and Marketplace. I scripted other men's jewelry in Second Life to make the jewelry either talk or play music. I made my jewelry to wrap against the customer's neckline and chest area so it could not be duplicated. My passion was to ensure individuals had a custom design that wasn't the traditional circle necklace that was made like a factory line. After a while and the fact I was still active duty in the military in RL, I got overwhelmed, sold some scripts and models and quit the working business in SL.

I made my way through SL learning things and eventually ended up staying on the Eyema Sass account. I've loved, I've lost, in SL and RL but my journey is not finished yet. I've made my mistakes, and I've had successes. I've learned time does heal some wounds but not all. I like to surround myself with people who are genuine.

I've been blessed with a great SL partner and amazing SL children. I've also been blessed to be a part of an amazing sorority, which I'm the President of, Alpha Iota Mu Beta. I'm also a panelist for the SL/RL talk show, The "Say What?" Talk Show. I like great conversation and mature debates as I enjoy seeing everyone's point of view. I've also been blessed to discover Queen Lace and as a Queen in Training, I'm really enjoying the maturity and hearing the voices of like-minded women coming together to talk, share information, educate each other, and also, listening and supporting the strength of being a woman. I love listening to people talk, and I enjoy lots of laughter. I love to talk and meet people too, but I have a great tuning fork about folks. Even if I can see through the bs, I will still be cordial and free-loving as always, because other people do not define my happiness.

I came upon the Second Life scene July of 2010 as Hersheykiss Rain. My intentions were to find friendship, family, love, and to mainly just have some fun…not in that order. As we all know, Second Life has a way of tossing daggers in your direction when everything seems to be going well, and one always manages to hit you in the back. Because of this, I choose to step away from the game in 2012 and then again in 2017 after similar circumstances occurred. In October of 2018, I returned to Second Life hoping to once again find friendship, family, love, and “fun”… again not in that order. Coming back I decided that I needed to change myself before I could change my SL. Since October I’ve managed to find the most amazing family to welcome me, a great sisterhood to embrace me, and now an inspiring organization to empower me. To me, three out of the four is a huge accomplishment that I am very proud to claim. My SL Soul-mate? In due time…maybe.
For now, I am exactly who and where I want to be.

Ladi Java DeVine-Xue (mzzchloedebone) arrived on the grid of Second Life on November 28, 2012. She migrated over from IMVU with two of her daughters, Mrs. Sofia DeVine Riler and Goddess DeVine. Very early on in her Second Life she shared her love for all music and learned to DJ. She started playing gospel praise sessions around the grid at different churches and when she found her new home church she met her son, Pastor Jay Clarkson of New Life Christian Fellowship.

With encouragement from a few of her close friends that discovered she can sing and loves to sing the blues, they helped her start singing live on the grid. She starting to sing with a band and eventually went solo. Her current manager, Sole' Starr-Blitz, of Soul Star Entertainment heard her a few times singing and went after her to manage her singing career. After a few shows, her manager and peers named her the SL Queen of Blues. Java earned that name by pouring her entire heart and soul into each song she sang. And her loving and efficacious personality she became loved by anyone instantly who heard sing and has a conversation with her. And, yes she will mess up a name, but charge it to the special fonts and creativity of people who names themselves and not her heart and good intentions. lol. She tries her best to get everyone's name correct.

As she was building her singing career she not only caught the eye of her audience, she caught the eye of her husband. DP Xue, they were married June 2, 2018. The happy couple combined their families and gained a host of new friends and family together, including the Xue twins, Devina and Jamal. And two new goddaughters, Tyesia and Nicole.

Java is somewhat an introvert, you wouldn't know it because of her stage persona is really bubbly and lovable. Getting to know Java outside of performing, can somewhat be a patient journey. She is often quiet around new people, and like to get the feel of those she is around. She likes surrounding herself around people with like-minded minds and kind-hearted people. Once, you get to know her personally, she is so lovable and funny as hell. She knows how to bring a smile to your face even on your worst day. Outside of performing around Second Life, Java enjoys spending her free time with her family, close friends and new friends of Queen Lace.

I am Melissa Naimarc aka Melissa Starr Vendetta. My zodiac sign is cancer. I am very hardworking and also an Introvert. I joined Second Life on January 27, 2009, to roleplay with a family. I surround myself every day with family and oddly enough I didn't know that I was filling a void. I work a lot in real life and SL has always been my escape, my unwind time if I'm not at the movies in RL. So, I never mastered any skills in SL like building, creating or designing. I started hosting. I choose to host as "my thing" in SL because it includes music, and secretly it took me out of my shell. I enjoyed greeting, interacting and vibing with people, which I found fun.

In April 2015 I met the love of my life, I call her my beat and the woman of my dreams. Because she lights me up like no other, she sees my flaws and embraces them. She balances me. I joined second life for family time, yet I also found my best half. DJ Vendetta has always been a reason to party, a reason to turn up the speakers, and my quiet crush. Once she noticed me, I knew I never wanted to stop talking to her. After 7 months of talking every day since April, we finally met in her city for Thanksgiving with her family and the rest is still being written.

And, I have a family that supports me, a family that I'm extremely comfortable with, that understands my moods and what makes me tick. Time has gone by in SL and people change, the biggest change I've had in mine was when I lost my father that I also considered my father in Second Life, and as also my father in real life. This life event hit me hard so I buried myself into work. I am good at hiding the real me, to avoid appearing weak. But as days go by time moves and the current keeps on flowing.

Majority of my second life currently includes my family, Queen Lace, and that's all I ever want or need.

Quixotixmuse Tempest

Prounouced /kwikˈsädik/ /myoÍžoz/

stumbled upon the Second Life grid on 11/04/2010. She quickly got swept in the unlimited possibilities that this world had to offer and was intrigued to learn.
Through her journey in Second Life, she adopted the name QT for short. Being an avid music lover, the music life on the grid exposed her to many genres and sounds. Through this outlet, she discovered hosting which lead to meeting what would soon become some her family and other friends.

This network exploded when she was introduced to Second Life Facebook, for a whole new world of fashion was introduced, as well as places to shop and explore. Soon QT ventured into the fashion of Second Life clothing by launching her own store Noir Couture. However, the Second Life grid is an ever-changing atmosphere and so was she. When an opportunity presented itself to open the door into landscaping, building and decorating she went for it!

Her flair for style, design, and creativity led her into various large scale building ventures: Stiletto Isles of Emerald, Isles of Greece/Santorini, Crimson Lotus Theater, and Mykonos.

As well as clubs like The Hook-up, The Sun Goddess Jazz Lounge, and her current build and Co-owned venue The Jazz Den/Pier.

Her hard work paid off winning her the convent Black Girls Rock - Young Gifted and Black Award in 2017.

QT’s passion for photography has been encouraged and nurtured by many, giving birth to QT Xclusive Pixel Portraits. She has done personal photos, flyers, invitations, and has been a photographer for Influence Talk the SL Jett Magazine. This has been a modest craft that QT still pursues, improving her style and technique over the years.

Although QT is a bit of an introvert, she blossomed socially creating /join the following groups:
Delta Theta Chi - Co-Founder
Theta Nu Psi Chi- Co-Founder
Crimson Lotus Bratz Dance Team - backdrop designer and dancer
Little Black Dress
And now
Queen Lace

QT has also received a DJ certification from the Second Life S&I DJ School, which she hopes to expand more on in the future.

Yet out of all her accomplishments, the thing that she is most proud of and grateful for is her unconditional love and support from her cherished family and friends that she has been blessed with in this world.

I came to Second Life back in Nov of 2009...But it wasn't until March of 2010 that I begin too fully play Second Life...I had been in families that were toxic for me but I had to learn the hard way that you have to play this game for you and not for how others want you to play it.....I had to learn my way and find my way in SL.

I wanted to learn a trade that I would enjoy doing...I wanted to do nothing that would shame me or my family...I thought Hosting would be the trade for me...I hung out with my auntie Ebony Scorpio as she worked and got a lot of pointers from her...Then I learned that Honey 103 was looking for some hostess/host and so I applied not thinking I'd get hired but I did......Auntie Ebony taught the class of hosting and I caught on very fast....I'd like to think I did her proud.....My first hosting gig was The Karma lounge, I hosted for then Dj Lucas Scarborough...I was his host about 2 yrs and then the owner decided too close it's doors for good.....Lucky for me word got out about me hosting so I wasn't out of work long.

In 2012 I met my first husband...Not gonna mention his name because that is one memory I'd like to forget totally, so we gonna fast forward to 2014... I met my soulmate, Kain S Martian......We started dating June 10 of 2014...We set goals and surprisingly we had much of the same goals and that was to be married in SL create our own family...At that time he was a member of Theta Nu Theta and I had just started pledging Eta Sigma Delta.....Aug 25th Kain asked me to be his wife and of course, I said yes...We got married Nov 9th of 2014.

Kinda got hectic trying to juggle hosting, being in a sorority, and trying to build a family so I soon retired from hosting and took on being a full-time housewife...After all the hoopla settled, I soon realized I had too much time on my hands, so I enrolled myself in Hillman University, in which I was valedictorian...I graduated and now I am a Medical Doctor...I was so excited...I open my practice in 2017 but it didn't last long as I lost interest and closed down my practice...I needed to regain focus and realized that I loved doing things for my sorority and my family.

My main focus has and always will be family and my sorority but still, something was missing.....My auntie Ebony invited me too a dinner sponsored by Queen Lace...It was very enjoyable...Met some really fascinating women...So here I am now waiting to see if I made it thru and start the next chapter of my SL life :-)

Hey! Just a few things about Zuri, I'm a mom, daughter, sister, support system and even sometimes an advice giver. I'm a founder of Tau Nu Upsilon Sorority Inc. I am also the manager at Frozen Illusions Photography. Mother to Hendrix, Jaelin, Alex and the youngest twins Adonis & Ares.

I'm a Pisces born on the cusp so I have both Pisces and Aries tendencies. I love reading and listening to music. I'm usually shy when I first meet someone, but once I've connected with you and gotten to know you, I probably won't shut up. Joining Queen Lace has opened my eyes so many wonderful women and has shown me that no matter what, never let your crown fall. It may tilt, get a little crooked, but it shall never fall.
